Good for you! I quit Facebook in 2017, and have never looked back. I have struggled with Instagram . . . because I there are some things I really like there (things that actually bring me joy and inspire me), but I hate the doomscrolling addiction and I hate supporting Meta. In early January, I bought a BRICK device for my phone and it has been SUPER helpful. I "brick" myself from Instagram most of the day, and only "allow" myself (up to) an hour of Instagram. I've found it works so well, I only find my self looking at Instagram every couple of days now. (I also "brick" myself from Pinterest, which was a real time-suck for me.)
I've been off Facebook for a while, and I barely used it for a long time before then. I'm still on IG, but it's mostly yarn and dogs that I'm there for. Honestly, Ravelry is a much bigger time suck for me than social media, and luckily there's no algorithm messing with me there!
